Weigh-In Wednesday

Well...
Bad News....
I gained 2 pounds. I know exactly what happened, but still...it's hard to grasp the fact that I gained. I had been doing so well and then the ONE week that I decide to not write everything down...to not blog my foods...to not keep in touch with my email buddies...I gain. I ate too much for sure and didn't account for it.
Now...the plan for Thanksgiving week is this:
I'm going to be extra good and watch what I eat before Thanksgiving day. I am also going to eat what I want on Thanksgiving, but in portions! When I'm full...that's it. No more eating. I can do this...and I WILL lose weight this week!

So, even though I gained...it's not the end of the world and I'm moving on. See ya next week and Happy Thanksgiving!

We all have bad weeks!! (mine was last week)

The important thing is that you have a plan and you're not giving up!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Having a plan for the holidays is definitely key! Especially if you're not the one preparing the foods.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday and a great week!!

Good for you to not get hung up on the negative and to find the positive and potential for this week! Portion control is a biggun for me - but this year we're far from family and I'm doing the cooking, so there won't be much to cook (or devour) for our little family. It's Christmas with my family up north that I'm sweating already. ;-)

Good luck and happy Thanksgiving!

You shouldn't feel bad - I haven't lost in almost two weeks, not lost anything, which sucks but I honestly have felt my clothes getting bigger around me and my waist measurement went down. So hang in there girl! We are rooting for ya!

The fact that you are not beating yourself up about the gain is a victory. Great job!!

Congratulations on the right attitude. Get back up on the horse and we will hear good news next week!!

Holidays are always the hardest. And you are doing a great job even with that in mind.

You know how we do things in baby steps? 15 min of exercise to start. That's all I ask.. when you are putting away books -- put in a little extra stretch... just some thoughts.

LOVE YAS BUNCHES OF OATS!
